Why We Built This Site
Texas provides several forms of public access, but each custodian holds a different part of the record. The Andrews County Sheriff keeps sheriff-created reports and jail material. The District Clerk holds felony case files, while the County Clerk keeps misdemeanor cases. The Texas Department of Public Safety maintains the statewide criminal-history repository, and separate systems cover state custody and registry records. We collect verified contact details, official search routes, fees, and request steps so those boundaries are easier to follow.
What You Will Find Here
- Local court guidance: how criminal court case records are found and read in Andrews County
- Official check steps: how Texas DPS name searches and fingerprint-based personal reviews differ
- Agency details: where the Andrews County sheriff, clerks, and statewide record systems can be reached
- Record relief: how Texas expunction and nondisclosure differ and where a qualifying petition is filed
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site with no affiliation to a Texas court, police department, sheriff, or state agency. Its role has clear limits:
- We cannot retrieve a criminal record or perform an official background check
- We cannot submit a records request, expunction petition, or other filing for a visitor
- We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
- We cannot promise that an address, fee, phone number, or procedure has not changed
Only the issuing sheriff, court, or Texas Department of Public Safety can supply its official record. Any certified or official document must come from that custodian.
Search Partners
Outside providers operate search boxes that appear on some pages. They control their prices, services, data practices, and results. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral fee that supports this resource. We do not set the provider's charges or determine what its search returns.
